Project Overview
Skytel Mongolia, one of the country’s major telecom operators, partnered with Technacy Solutions Lab to launch a nationwide IPTV service to complement its broadband and mobile offerings. The objective was to strengthen Skytel’s position in the Mongolian market by providing a triple-play service bundle (voice, data, IPTV) with a modern, operator-branded entertainment experience.
Our Role
Technacy Solutions Lab, in partnership with Minerva Networks, deployed a carrier-grade IPTV solution tailored for Skytel’s infrastructure and subscriber base.
Key Deliverables:
- End-to-End IPTV Platform: Deployment of Minerva middleware for IPTV service management and subscriber experience.
- Set-Top Box Supply & Integration: STBs provided and configured for residential users across Mongolia.
- Content Aggregation: Integration of live TV channels, premium content, and VOD libraries.
- Scalable Architecture: IPTV system built to support growth from initial rollout to nationwide adoption.
- Operator Training & SLA: Training programs for Skytel’s technical teams and long-term support services under SLA.
